Since dazzling gamers with his added scenes in the rerelease of [i]Resident Evil Code: Veronica[/i] in 2001, Albert Wesker has made a name for himself in the gaming world. But, how would his persona transfer to the film industry? We may get to find out when the third [i]Resident Evil[/i] movie, entitled [i]Extinction[/i], releases.

IMDB.com has posted a full cast list for the movie, and has listed Peter O'Meara as being "in negotiations" for the role of Wesker. O'Meara has made guest appearances in such shows as [i]Alias[/i] and [i]Without a Trace[/i], but landing this role would be the highlight of his still young career.

While the inclusion of Wesker hasn't been confirmed by anyone working on the film yet, at least we know that Claire Redfield of [i]Resident Evil 2[/i] and the aforementioned [i]Code: Veronica[/i], will be played by Ali Larter ([i]Final Destination 2[/i]). Also, Sienna Guillory, Milla Jovovich, Mike Epps, and Oded Fehr will be reprising their roles. R&B singer Ashanti is slated to portray a character named Nurse Betty. She doesn't look like a Betty to me, though…
