Viewtiful Joe announced for the PSP

?Henshin-is-on-the-go-go,? says Capcom, as today they announced that everyone?s favorite celluloid hero, [a]http://www.viewtifuljoe.com/[aa]Viewtiful Joe[/a], will make his debut on the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system in Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble. Taking the traditional Viewtiful platform fighting formula and expanding it to allow multiplayer fighting action, Viewtiful Joe: Red Hot Rumble is currently scheduled to be released throughout North America in March 2006. The game will carry a ?T? rating from the ESRB.

In Red Hot Rumble, production on the latest Captain Blue movie is just about to begin. There are plenty of wannabe action stars competing for the leading role, so Captain Blue decides the best way to narrow it down would be to have all the candidates fight for the role. An all-star cast of new and familiar playable characters will be available in this intense Smash Bros.-style game including Captain Blue Junior, Sprocket and other original characters from the popular [a] http://kidswb.warnerbros.com/web/stuff/stuff_display.jsp?id=VTJ[aa]Kids’ WB animated series.[/a]

Although Red Hot Rumble for the PSP will be largely similar to the Game Cube version released earlier this year, the PSP edition will have some exclusive features, such as exclusive characters (such as Dante of Devil May Cry fame), a single-player Trial Mode, and game sharing, which will allow other PSP users to play selective stages and characters using only one disk.
