Tokyo Game Show- Day 2

Today was fairly stagnant compared to the huge events yesterday. Essentially, today was just a day of showing off trailers, and playing some current and next-gen titles. However, there are still a few points of interest.

Many of the noteworthy events revolved around Konami. In particular was Hideo Kojima, the brain behind the Metal Gear Solid series, announcing that he will retire after MGS4. While he originally planned to jump ship after MGS3 to pursue a career in more mainstream forms of story-telling (that is, movies and novels), he was quickly brought back for this installment. Also announced were plans to re-release Metal Gear Aci!d, complete with a halved price tag. Konami also announced Guitar Freaks V and DrumMania V for the PS2, which will have a feature that allows for a drummer and guitarist to play the same song, but with different parts which offer a unique party experience.
