LucasArts is giving gamers another opportunity to control the fate of the galaxy as they officially announced [i]Start Wars: Empire At War[/i] today, an all new real time strategy game. Set a few years before Episode IV, players will have the chance to change history as they take control of the aftermath events of the upcoming Episode III: Revenge of the Sith film
In development by Las Vegas-based Petroglyph the game is set to feature completely rendered land and space battles, as well as never before seen ones from the expanded universe novels. Choosing either the Rebel Alliance or Galactic Empire, you’ll be able to use strategy and tactical elements that will effect your galaxy permanently.
[i]Star Wars: Empire At War[/i] is slated to ship in the fall for the PC.
