THQ will make a formal announcement tomorrow afternoon that its upcoming WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW game will indeed feature online play. In what was previously a move that depended on the results of a 4000 person beta test, wrestling game fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it was one of the most requested features for the game.
To date, the only gameplay mode that has been confirmed is Head-to-Head competition. Right now this means you’ll be able to at least go against one other person in exhibition matches, but since THQ won’t comment any further, there’s a chance there may be more to this story.
