Pikmin 2, a strategy game exclusive to Nintendo’s Gamecube console, has been shipped out to stores. The game introduces a new character as well as new kinds of Pikmin creatures into the fold which will let players experience “twice the action in this one-of-a-kind adventure,” says George Harrison, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications.
“The inclusion of brand-name products, a first for Nintendo, means players will find unique value in the familiar items they uncover through the game,” Harrison said.
Pikmin 2 is rated E for Everyone and retails at $49.99.
