This Tuesday, January 31, Lucas Arts will be releasing a wealth of new [i]Star Wars[/i] content over Xbox Live in one neat little package for owners of the Xbox version of [i]Battlefront II[/i] for the price of $4.99.
Among the items in the new premium content are two new characters, Jedi Kit Fisto and the evil Asajj Ventress. Some of the most popular maps from the original [i]Star Wars Battlefront[/i] are in the package as well including Yavin 4 (Arena), Bespin (Cloud City), and two on Rhen Var (Harbor and Citadel). All maps will carry the bonus modes of Conquest, Capture-the-Flag, and Assault (a good vs. evil deathmatch type battle for all characters, new and old). Assault modes has also been added to already existing maps like Coruscant, Mygeeto and Naboo, and Rhen Var?s Harbor map. In addition to Assault, the Harbor level will include a Hunt mode featuring wampa ice creatures.
Lucas Arts is very excited about the new content which can ultimately allow [i]Star Wars[/i] fans to reenact some of the most memorable battles like Luke Skywalker against Darth Vader in [i]The Empire Strikes Back[/i], or Anakin Skywalker fighting Asajj Ventress in the jungles of Yavin 4 from the animated [i]Star Wars: Clone Wars[/i] series.
