After the partnership between [b]MTV[/b] and [b]Microsoft[/b] for the unveiling of the Xbox 360 about two months ago it seems [b]MTV[/b] is trying to get more in touch with the gaming industry.
So far MTV has formed MTV Games, their new interactive entertainment division from [b]Viacom Inc.[/b]. As some of you may know [b]Myelin Media?s[/b] upcoming title is [i]STACKED with Daniel Negreanu[/i], a Texas Hold ?em poker game with a fall 2005 release time for the Xbox, PS2, PC, and PC. What will be going on is [b]MTV[/b] and [b]Myelin Media[/b] will be working together to try and deliver the experience of poker to the MTV audience via on-air, online, mobile and other platforms, while also making a programming special based [i]STACKED[/i] to air around the time of the release of the game, much like the Xbox 360 debut. MTV.com will also be the official online home of [i]STACKED[/i] on all platforms, and MTV will also be able to participate in a revenue sharing structure.
