LEVEL-5 Releases Details on US Release of Inazuma Eleven and WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE

LEVEL-5, makers of such games as Aero Porter, Crimson Shroud, and Liberation Maiden, have released details on two of their latest game during the latest Nintendo Direct. There is a lot to take in so here is the official release:

Globally renowned Japanese game company LEVEL-5, best known for the critically acclaimed PROFESSOR LAYTON and NI NO KUNI, has released INAZUMA ELEVEN in North America and Europe in the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system.

Since its debut, the INAZUMA ELEVEN franchise has gained recognition both as a game and an anime series in Japan and in Europe. The franchise has shipped more than 7 million games worldwide, making INAZUMA ELEVEN one of LEVEL-5‘s most popular cross-media titles.

In the past, the INAZUMA ELEVEN games were only available to our fans in Japan and European regions. However, due to enthusiastic North American fan support, the original INAZUMA ELEVEN installment is finally available to fans in North America, and for first time on Nintendo 3DS for European fans.

INAZUMA ELEVEN is a soccer role-playing game (RPG). As Captain Mark Evans of Raimon Junior High School, the player will recruit and train characters to customize their team, lead them through tactical soccer battles, and take them to the top to win the Soccer Frontier championship.

Players can customize their teams by choosing from more than 1,000 potential recruits. The conditions that the players have to meet in order to recruit new team members and quests that have to be cleared to progress are intricately woven into the game as the story of the Raimon Junior High soccer club unfolds.

In soccer matches, players maneuver their team across the field with intuitive stylus controls. When players jockey for control of the ball, gameplay shifts to a more traditional RPG-style battle in which players utilize INAZUMA ELEVEN‘s signature special moves for offense or defense.

While the unique soccer motif is the heart of INAZUMA ELEVEN, the game also delivers on amazing role-playing game play. From the exciting and original story to the colorful characters, INAZUMA ELEVEN has established a large and devoted global fan base of children and adults alike.

INAZUMA ELEVEN is now available in North America and Europe in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS for $19.99 / €17.99. More information about INAZUMA ELEVEN can be found online at http://level5ia.com/inazumaeleven/.

WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE TO RELEASE FEBRUARY 20
LEVEL-5 International America will also release WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE on February 20, 2014 in North America and Europe via download in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.

One of the titles in what is known in Japan as GUILD01 series, which featured games by celebrated creators, WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE is a role-playing game with a distinct comedic taste previously only available in Japan.

WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE was created by comedian Yoshiyuki Hirai. While best known as a comedian, Hirai’s well-known passion for and intimate knowledge of games and comics have led him to all sorts of multimedia opportunities, including his current stint as a comic book artist. Before his rise to stardom as a comedian, Hirai wished to become a game creator, and WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE marks the debut of that dream.

Hirai exercised his distinctive humor and aesthetics in creating this unique title. Everything from the game design to the story and dialogue is an expression of his creative vision.

WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE’s story centers around a peculiar weapon shop within a legendary RPG. RPG shopkeepers live out their lives in obscurity: unnoticed operatives behind the scenes, tirelessly supporting the game’s heroes on their quests –this is the world the player will experience. As a young apprentice in a weapon shop, the player will forge and rent weapons to meet the demands from an assortment of misfit heroes. The stronger the weapons, the higher chances for the heroes’ success — the world’s fate rests on the quality of the player’s weapons.

In WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE, the player never even sets foot on a quest. Instead the player will forge, select, and rent optimal weapons for the heroes to use in battle. If they return successful, the player will be paid and get their weapon back.  Aiding the heroes will also yield materials that can give weapons special properties. But if the hero fails their quest, the player will not get paid and the weapon they’ve put so much work into will be lost. In this game, the player must not only make powerful weapons, but also carefully choose which weapons to rent out to the heroes based on their skills.

WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE will be available February 20, 2014 in North America and Europe in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS for $7.99 / €7.99 / ₤7.19. More information about WEAPON SHOP de OMASSE can be found online at http://level5ia.com/blackbox/weapon-shop-de-omasse/.
*Title is available in English only.
