John Milius, the well known writer/director of movies such as Dillinger (1973), Conan the Barbarian (1982), and Red Dawn (1984) will be writing the screenplay for the upcomming title Medal of Honor European Assault.
John Milius is a military history buff so it seems as though he is going to be a perfect fit for the title. Executive Director Dan Winters said “The Medal of Honor franchise stakes its reputation on epic, cinematic action, and so does John Milius. It’s a natural fit!”
In the new game you’ll be playing as US Army Lieutenant William Holt and have missions comparable to the other Medal of Honor titles. During these missions you will be sent to actual battles that took place during the 2nd World War including locations like St. Nazaire, North Africa, Stalingrad, and the Battle of the Bulge.
Look for this title to be released Summer of this year for the X-Box, PS2 and Gamecube.
