There are many computer cases available in the market today. Some cater to those looking to house their state-of-the-art computer components and maximize their performance. Others are designed for mid-range computers offering functionality and style in an affordable package. The GMC R-2 Toast PC case belongs to those in the latter category.
The R-2 is an ATX mid-size tower case with a form slightly smaller than other cases in its class. It comes with room for two 80mm fans in the back (providing adequate cooling) and enough room for two internal hard drives and 7 expansion slots. GMC did not spend much money on the aesthetic design for this case; regardless, the R-2 still comes with a couple of simple design elements that separate it from other PC cases in the same class. One such element is the optical drive design that is positioned perpendicularly to the case and has an access port that slides into the case. A beautiful blue light illuminates the drive when the door is closed adding to the style component of the R-2 Toast.
