To make a splash with the release of the Myst-based MMORPG [i]Myst Online: Uru[/i] GameTap has a couple of surprises in store for us. The first starts today where a new area of the city of Uru, not to mention a brand new age to explore, have been opened up for the [i]Myst Online[/i] community to explore. In addition to this there is a Macintosh version of [i]Myst Online[/i] that is currently being put together by TransGaming Inc. which will bring the world of Myst to Mac users all over this world.
Rand Miller, the CEO of Cyan Worlds which is the company responsible for the creation of [i]Myst Online[/i], offered these words about the Mac version of the game: "The original Myst game premiered on the Mac. "The Mac community has always been huge supporters of the Myst franchise and we're thrilled that we will soon be able to invite them to the newest Myst experience." Vikas Gupta, the CEO and President of TransGaming, Inc. offered these words “"The release of Myst Online for Mac represents the beginning of exciting new possibilities for Mac gamers,” and that “"We look forward to bringing many more great games to the Mac in coming months."
