Paradox Interactive announced that Galactic Civilizations II will hit stores across Europe on February 22, 2006. European gamers will have access to a limited “Steelbook” edition of the space strategy game, with bonus material for fans.
“We see no reason why European gamers should be kept waiting for Galactic Civilizations II to hit shelves, especially when we know the interest this title is generating”, says Fredrik W. Lindgren, Director of Publishing at Paradox Interactive. “We will also aim to release localized versions of the game as close to this release date as possible”.
Brad Wardell, President & CEO of Stardock Entertainment, added, “Stardock is very excited about working with Paradox to make sure Galactic Civilizations II has a strong presence in Europe. We have worked hard to endeavor that the game is appealing to strategy fans of all nationalities”.
