BioWare/Pandemic Studios is showing off some big names during E3 ‘06. Both BioWare and Pandemic continue to build on a stellar 2005, during which the studios reaped the success of four top-ten titles, more than 50 industry awards and acclaim from critics and customers alike. Josh Resnick, president of Pandemic Studios said, "We've always strived to max-out the latest generation of hardware and the combination of Mercenaries 2: World in Flames and Mass Effect from our collective studios are showcasing what the next generation of gaming truly has to offer."

[i]Mercenaries 2: World In Flames[/i]- From Pandemic Studios, the power of the PlayStation 3 from Sony is exploited in this open-world 3rd person shooter that allows players to enter a world of infinite possibilities where gamers get to be their own boss. In addition to providing the perfect blend of civilian and military worlds, where you can either turn up at an army base in a stolen Ferrari or roll down Main Street in a "borrowed" Abrams main battle tank, Mercenaries 2 empowers players to make the decisions they want, whenever and however they want. Set in Venezuela, there are absolutely no rules as to the weapons or vehicles that a Mercenary can acquire.
[i]Mass Effect[/i]- From one of the leading developers in role-playing (RPG) genre, BioWare is featuring Mass Effect, published by Microsoft. Set 200 years in the future, "Mass Effect" puts players in an enormous and diverse galactic environment to discover and explore a wide-variety of new worlds, where their every decision and action will affect and shape the destiny of all life in the galaxy. In addition to the main story arc of the game, players will be able to visit a large number of uncharted, unexplored planets which are side quests independent from the main story.
