NCsoft has announced the winners of the City of Villains “City of Archvillains Costume Contest” with winners and runners-up coming from around the U.S. and Canada. The costume contest asked fans of City of Villains to provide two images, one an in-game screenshot of a hero from City of Heroes and a second shot of the contestant dressed like the hero’s arch enemy from City of Villains. Winners also had to provide a description of their villain character and why they are an archvillain.
All contestants were judged on costume impression, creativity, originality, difficulty (intricacy of design), and the quality of the required Archvillain description. Winners and runners-up received prizes that included a Sony 32-inch CRT HD TV, TiVo Series2 DVR’s (80 hrs), 12 month Tivo(r) Gift Subscriptions, Apple iPod 4 GB nano’s and City of Villains Collector’s Edition copies.
