Konami has announced that they will be releasing [i]Castlevania: Symphony of the Night[/i] this coming Wednesday for only 800 Microsoft Points. Originally, Konami tossed around the idea of releasing this PSOne port for 1,200 points, but the cheaper price point should target a lot more Xbox Livers.
[i]SotN[/i] takes credit for being the first game brought over from another console to the Xbox Live Arcade. Besides modernized sound, widescreen support, achievements and leaderboards, this re-release will support two types of graphic modes: an original graphics mode and an altered updated visual feature that addresses some problems such as sprite pixilation when playing on a HD TV.
And just as an FYI, 800MS Points equals $10 in US currency and the game will be released at 2 a.m. PDT.
