[i]Age of Empires III[/i] has gone gold, according to Microsoft Game Studios. The strategy game, which is the second sequel in the popular franchise, follows the player as they control various European empires during the rush to colonize the New World between 1500 and 1850. As in the first two games, players will have to establish trade, battle neighboring civilizations, and establish new settlements. The game is rated T for Teen, and will be priced at $49.99.
