360 Parental Control this fall

The much rumored Xbox 360 parental control has finally been confirmed.  Due to hit with the fall update early next month the addition will allow parents to moderate how much time their children spend on the 360, when it isn’t given them the three rings of death.  The update is spread across to Windows Vista as well, along with a feature that will allow parents to control the rating on the games their children are allowed to play.

This is a step forward for Microsoft showing that it does support parents in an attempt to safeguard their children, but unless they are willing to spend another 50 dollars so their kids can have their own live gold account, I see this feature being vastly ignored as one, if not both of their parents will probably want to get some Halo action going after their kid has gone to bed after wasting both of their hours for that day.
